Dancing plague is generally a disease where a person can dance uncontrollably for days, until he dies of heart attack or exhaustion. Sleeping sickness is a dangerous condition which affects the brain of a person, leaving him motionless and speechless like a statue. There are many theories related to this disease and the cause of this disease is still unknown. Most of the people have died during the first stage of the disease. Few doctors have said that there is a mysterious virus that attacks the body of a person, leaving him speechless and still throughout the life.

6. Sweating Sickness

Sweating sickness is considered to be a highly dangerous disease, which has killed thousands of people until now. Its symptom include sudden pain and cold followed by excessive sweat. Sweating sickness is so deadly that it can kill a person after few hours of continuous sweating. There are many cases found for the disease but no clear evidence has been obtained yet.

This is another bizarre and fascinating syndrome which is called the Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. A person suffering from this generally feels like he is getting smaller or growing in a small room. Few other people suffering from this syndrome believe that their bed is shrinking or room is growing. After doing a lot of research, scientists and top class doctors failed to explain the reason behind this syndrome.

9. Working Hand Syndrome

Another common yet strange disease that might affect anyone among us is working hand syndrome. This is a strange disease that can increase numbness, pain, burning sensation or tingling sensation during the night time. After a lot of studies, it was found that people suffering from this may face increased muscle pain or damaged nerves, making it difficult to cure this.

10. Blue Skin Disease

This is a rare and genetically inherited disease, which is called Methemoglobinemia, where a person's skin tends to turn totally blue. Generally, a person suffers from a high level of met-hemoglobin, a molecule in red blood cells which distributes the oxygen to the body. There are many people who suffer from this problem. The causes and the remedy for the same have remained unsolved however.
