Spa Review: The O2 Spa

By Super

The first time I came across O2 Spa was at Indira Gandhi International airport, Delhi. I was shuttling between flights and did not exactly had the leisure to walk into a spa. However, my feet hurt because of constant traveling. So I decided to walk-in just to get some rest. Well, I must say that they specialise in giving express treatment to passengers on the move. They are pretty good at making you relax quickly.

Spa Review: The O2 Spa

After returning to Bangalore, where I am currently placed, I came across the O2 Spa once again. I was pleasantly surprised and decided to take a spa session over the weekend. Finally the day came and like anyone else I was excited for my spa session. I felt the positive and soothing atmosphere while entering the O2 spa. The décor was soothing to the eyes with dim lights and airy music. I was welcomed with a glass of lime juice and chilled hand towel to refresh myself. Without wasting much time, I was attended instantly. So the timeliness was the first thing that struck me about this place.

Menu of the services at O2 Spa was pretty varied. I choose Aromatherapy Massage out of which I went for Stress Buster therapy. If the experience at IGI airport had been a piece of heaven, then this was paradise itself. As I felt the experienced hands of masseur works magic on my body, the stress just drained from my muscles.

I am not very learned about the tricks & oils in aromatherapy. All I can tell is that, it really work wonders. The aromas of the scented oils and candles stimulates all your senses. It is a sure shot way to beat stress that we all experience due to work pressure.

Now you must be wondering that all good things cost money. It is true that they do, but often it is your priorities that makes all the difference. We spend so much money on buying clothes, shoes and accessories. But we end up ignoring the two things that money can't buy; health and beauty. With the pressures of a modern life, ageing and stress related health problems are bound to catch up.

So, I have made my choice to splurge on by inner peace and beauty. And I believe that there is no better place to invest on myself than a spa session at O2 Spa. Despite this spa being a luxurious 5-star spa, I found it to be a value for money because of my experience here. At the end I was relaxed, rejuvenated and totally satisfied with my spa session.

P.S. Coincidentally, I happened to meet Swapna Reddy, Co-founder of O2 Spa. Without hesitation I went on to ask, what makes your spa different from all other spas in the market. And this is what she had to say, "We at O2 Spa work in order to make our customer totally satisfied. Apart from the décor, the team has paid attention even on minute details that our customer might be looking for. We have highly trained therapists, expert masseurs and other personnel. Unlike other spas we have looked on what our client really wants. For the spiritually inclined, there is Thai massage or a healing deep tissue massage, to unwind after a hectic gym routine. The aromatherapy massage makes use of essential oils, derived from plant products and is valued for stress reduction, elevating the mood and achieving a sense of peace and calm. Our Signature Therapy, Balinese and Swedish massages are done by masseurs, trained by experts from Singapore and Thailand."
