1. Inland Taipan: is arguable the most poisonous snake living on this planet. It is a native of the arid regions of Australia and thankfully has a solitary nature. They are not know to attack bystanders unless threatened. A single strike by this deadly animal is enough to kill about a 100 adults.
Peculiar Feature: These snakes are lighter during the winters and darker in the summer so that they can absorb appropriate amount of heat.

2. Black Mamba: is the most feared snake of the African continent. It gets its name from the jet black color of its mouth.
Peculiar Feature: Apart from being one of the world's most poisonous snakes it is also the fastest land snake to crawl on the earth. Extremely aggressive it strikes the victim repeatedly for about 10-12 times even if just once is more than enough.
Death Toll: 100% without the best anti-venom which also the highest death rate for any snake bite.

3. Rattle Snake: found only in the American continent is undeniably one of the most venomous snakes found. It is said that younger rattle snakes are more fatal than adults because they have not learned to control the amount of venom they should inject in one bite.
Peculiar Feature: The tail of this poisonous snake makes a child's rattle like sound which is why it is easy to escape from it.

5. Eastern Brown Snake: the name may not be as fancy as the others but the creature is very heinous and their poison concentration is very high.

Death toll: These snakes are kind as they prefer not to bite. Even if they do they don't always inject venom.
