Dal Lake In Srinagar

Tranquil lake, with the soft cooing of the birds and cold breeze is an apt place to celebrate valentines day inside the warmth of Shikaras or houseboats. The lake is connected to a number of other lakes of the Kashmir valley. It is well known for its approximately 500 Victorian-era wooden houseboats, originally built as vacation homes for landless British administrators during the Raj.

Mandu and Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh

The romantic tale has a tragic ending Bahadur, dies in a war with Mughal Emperor Akbar and Rupmati commits suicide in the pavilion.

Khajuraho is graded as the most romantic destination in the world because of its shining sandstone temples and the erotic sculpture. The entire place is sure to mesmerize you. The temples wax a pale pink colour at dawn and a mysterious white in the moonlight and the sculptures, short acts straight out of the Kamasutra are also positively captivating.

Sunderbans Tiger Reserve, West Bengal

This destination is exclusively for adventurous couples, who would love to experience the bliss of life with some thrill and excitement. Imagine a few days of love in the cool, dark jungles of the Sunderbans, in the delta of the Ganga, while you close the door to the world behind.

The best and only means of traveling the park is to hire a boat and float down the various lanes formed by the many flowing rivers. You can also visit places like Bhagatpur Crocodile Project which is a crocodile breeding farm , Sagar Island, Jambudweep, Sudhanyakali watchtower, Buriidabri Tiger Project, Netidhopani Watchtower, Haliday Island (famous for Barking Deer), Kanak (nesting place of Olive Ridley Turtle) and Sajankhali Bird Sanctuary.

You can get accommodation in forest lodge and forest rest-houses at Sajnekhali, Bakkhali and Piyali. Lodging facilities are also available at Sundarbans Jungle Camp on Bali Island run by Help Tourism Group with collaboration with local communities and members of Bali Nature and Wildlife Conservation Society.
