Carrey Mulligan, A Hotel Scavenger!

British actress Carey Mulligan reveals that she was a hotel scavenger in the past. She says that she used to sneak into the rooms of hotels managed by her father, to pocket the items left behind by the guests.

The 24 years old actress spent her childhood in the guest houses, her father managed in England and Germany. She and her brother often used to hid in the maid's trolleys.

She insists that most of the stuff she got was 'crap', save one or two instances.

"We got a Swiss army knife once," remembers the An Education star.

She reveals that she can never forget that knife because it left a scar on her left hand, as it sliced through a finger.
