Geetanjali Nagpal
Recuperating fast, former model Geetanjali Nagpal, has resolved to return to the mainstream and work towards fulfilling her cherished desire to walk the ramp once again in the New Year.

The modelling nostalgia still hangs on her mind, the former model said while interacting with mediapersons here today, adding that once again, she would explore possibilities to work in Mumbai and Delhi.

Besides addition, she has also learnt the art of painting and fashion designing in the Vidyadevi Jindal Girls school which had taken her in, soon after she was rescued from streets in south Delhi.

While talking to media, a confident looking Geetanjali asserted that in the coming year, she was ready to "surge ahead in life" leaving far behind the dreadry days of living like a vagabond as a drug and alcohol addict far behind.

Proudly displaying her skill over brush on fabric and canvas painting, acquired during her stay here, she said ,"I have liked the green, sunny and cheery atmosphere of this school. They love me like a family member. I wish very happy new year to them and their families." Gunmeet Bindra, the school principal said, "She likes working on fashion designing. In the morning, she goes for a long stroll. She has a desire to make this school a permanent home, but the management of the school has yet to consider her wish".

Dr Prabha Aggarwal, who has been attending Geetanjali for about two months, said there was great improvement in the former model.

"She does not moan over her past but remembers her son. Her son's birthday was on November 25 and she prayed for him", Dr Aggarwal said, adding that she had to stay in the school for another one month and then she would be fit to face the world once again.
