These little pests may look like bees, but their behaviour is very different compared to the honey collector insect.

While bees sting only when provoked, wasps are not like that. They find the reason to sting at any given time and they follow a pattern of stinging the victim more than once.

To get rid of wasps, there are a few home remedies you can strictly follow to kill the insect and destroy its home if it interferes in your life.

The safest way to prevent a wasp from entering into the garden is to spray insecticides on the plants, once in a week.

So, let's take a look at these simple home remedies that need to be prepared to get rid of the wasps in your surrounding:

Pepper Spray

Pepper Spray: More than a wasp spray that is easily available in the market, you can purchase or prepare your own pepper spray. In a cup of water, add around 6 tablespoons of pepper powder, 3 tablespoons of chilli powder. Let the powders boil in the water and, post 15 minutes, when done, transfer it into a spray bottle carefully. Spray this hot mixture directly on the nest to get rid of the wasps for good.

Onion Juice

Onion Juice: Onion juice contains acids that wasps can't stand. To this juice, add table salt to make it more acidic in nature. Sprinkle or spray this juice over the wasp nest to drive them away for good.

Baking Soda

Lemon & Baking Soda: Wasps resent the smell of acidic ingredients, which is why lemon juice is highly beneficial to be used. In a bowl, add lemon juice as well as baking soda to make a mixture. Spray the juice directly into the wasp nests and into every opened hole. If there are any wasps inside the nest, they will die.

Vinegar

Vinegar, Soda & Sugar: These three ingredients are highly acidic in nature and when combined to one spray, your home will never be visited by wasps ever again. In a bowl, add vinegar and sugar. Stir the sugar until it melts in the vinegar. When done, transfer this mixture into an empty bottle. Now add soda to the mixture and when it frizzes up, spray it on the nest of the wasp to drive them away for good.

Lemon Juice

Lemon Juice & Vinegar: Lemon juice and vinegar can be combined to make a spray. Now, this spray is not that powerful when compared to other ingredients mentioned earlier. However, you can spray this mixture into the nest to kill the eggs, if any.
