Careful! Skipping Breakfast Can Lead To This Deadly Disease!
Prevent this dangerous diseases by never skipping breakfast again!
Have you heard of the expression, "eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and dinner like a pauper"?
If yes, then, you should know that this age old expression is not just part of folklore, but it actually makes a lot of sense from the health point of view!
Even before the advancement in medical science and modern health research techniques were invented, our ancestors knew a lot of things about our health, sometimes even better than some of us today!
For example, in the olden days, people used natural remedies to treat a number of ailments, using the herbal ingredients and those have proven to work better than some of the modern medicines, without any side-effects.
Similarly, back then, people knew that breakfast was the most important meal of the day, which is how the expression at the beginning of this article was originated.
Now, we may already know that consuming a healthy, balanced diet is very important if you want to stay in shape and avoid certain diseases.
However, many of us may not be able to stick to a healthy, timely diet, due to a number of reasons, such as, lack of time, busy lifestyles, etc.
If we are people who have jobs that require us to start our days early, then we will hardly have any time for a hearty breakfast!
So, many of us tend to have a small, unhealthy breakfast, or completely skip this meal.
In a few other instances, people who want to lose weight follow certain unhealthy diet habits in which they skip meals, including breakfast.
We may have already been aware of the fact that skipping meals is unhealthy, however, a recent research study has found that skipping breakfast can actually lead to a common, yet, deadly disease!
Find out how, here.
Why Skipping Breakfast Can Be Dangerous?
Like we read earlier, it is clear that missing any meal of the day, especially breakfast, can be very dangerous for health.
Whether you are skipping breakfast because you do not have the time or because you are on a weight loss diet, this habit can be more harmful to your body than you realise!
Many of us may tend to take it for granted and feel that breakfast may not be all that important after all.
What we may not know is that fact that skipping breakfast can make you feel tired and also slow down your metabolism, as you are denying yourself the first meal of the day!
Now, apart from the above fact, a group of researchers from Tufts University, have found that people who skip breakfast on a regular basis, are the risk of developing heart diseases like stroke!
The study said that when a person skips breakfast, the body releases certain enzymes to produce more energy without food, and these enzymes can lead to the narrowing of the arteries.
Also, the enzymes can cause a build-up of plaque in the narrowed arteries, thus creating blood clots which may eventually cause a stroke or even a heart attack!
So, in conclusion, skipping breakfast can lead to stroke or heart attacks in later life!
