1. Lumps Beneath Your Skin:
You can't see these lumps, but you can feel them. These can grow around areas like the groin, armpit or neck. This can be an indication that the skin cancer has spread to the lymph nodes.
2. Abdominal Pain:
Apart from lymph nodes, melanoma can spread to the liver. If that occurs, you will feel pain in the upper right quadrant of the abdomen.
3. Breathing Problems:
Melanoma can also spread to the lungs. If it goes to the lungs, you will experience shortness of breath or persistent coughing. This is one of the skin cancer symptoms that you need to know.
4. Achy Joints:
Along with the lymph nodes, lungs and liver, the bones are another place where melanoma can spread. In this case, you will experience arthritis like symptoms coupled with joint pain.
5. Blurry Vision:
Melanocytes, which are pigment producing cells, are found in the skin and can also be found in the eyes and other parts of the body. In rare cases, primary cancer turns up in these locations.
If you develop melanoma in and around the cells in your eyes, then blurry or impaired vision can be the first symptom.
Melanoma can also give rise to gut related symptoms. The gut also contains melanocytes; hence, it can house hidden melanoma. This can give rise to symptoms like diarrhoea, constipation, cramps and pain in the gut area. This is one of the symptoms that you might have skin cancer.
Like the eyes and gut, brain also contains melanocytes. So there are chances of hidden melanoma up there. Some of the possible symptoms that can occur are headaches, seizures or cognitive problems. This is one of the hidden symptoms of skin cancer.
