As we know, pizza is a dish which contains a lot of carbohydrates (the base bread), fat in the form of cheese and it can also contain high-calorie meat and some vegetables. Pizza is not fried, but is baked.
Now, samosa is a dish prepared by deep-frying dough filled with potatoes, peas and spices. Potatoes also contain unhealthy carbohydrates and since samosas are deep-fried, they contain a lot of fat too.
Since the samosas are deep-fried, they contain more oil and fat content in comparison to pizzas which are baked.
While 100g of pizza contain about 276 calories, 100g of samosa contains about 400 calories.
So, although a pizza too is a generally unhealthy snack, as it contains a lot of fat and carbohydrates, samosa can be unhealthier, only because of the fact that it is deep-fried!
So, if you are a lover of samosas, you can always try the baked or shallow-fried version of it, so that it can be made relatively healthier.
