Step-by-step Procedure To Perform Simhasana:

1. To start this asana, come down to kneeling position as in Vajrasana.

2. The ankles should cross each other.

3. Both the feet should be pointing out.

4. See to it that the perineum should be pressed against the top of the heels.

5. Both the palms and fingesrs should be placed and firmly pressed on the knees.

6. Take a deep inhalation through the nose as you open your mouth and stretch your tongue out.

7. The muscles in front of your throat should be contracted.

8. Slowly breath out through the mouth and make a 'haa' sound.

9. Remain in the position and repeat the asana for few times.
