Effective Remedies To Stop Snoring
Snoring Causes - Snoring is not an incurable disease or a disorder, it is a natural result of breathing. When a person breathes while sleeping, the air that circulates vibrates the vocal chords causing sound ways. The more the air flow, the more the turbulence and louder the noise.
Snoring Remedies – There are a few remedies for snoring that can prevent the sound and help the person sleep sound free.
To Stop Snoring!
1. One of the basic reason for the vibration of the vocal chords is the block in the nasal passage. One way of clearing the nasal passage is by using nasal strips. The strips open up nostrils and make way for air flow.
2. Inhaling steam before going to bed will clear the mucus that is blocking the passage and help the person sleep sound free.
3. Avoiding alcoholic beverages, sleeping pills, tranquilizers and antihistamins will relieve snoring as these will relax muscles and cause the blockage.
4. Smoking is also reason for snoring loud, the habit causes inflammation and swelling in the throat which leads to the difficulty in breathing.
5. Clearing the mucus in the nostrils using air buds and trimming the excess hair can stop snoring.
Tips On Sleeping Pattern To Stop Snoring
1. Use elevated or thick pillows as it makes way for a better air flow in the throat. Too softer pillows relax muscles and block the air channel.
2. To stop snoring, you need to sleep on side instead of your back for increasing space in the air passage. Whenever you sleep on your back ask your partner to wake you up or move you to the side.
What Not To Eat To Stop Snoring
1. Avoid bedtime snacks (pizzas, burgers, cheese popcorn) that are high in fat as it increases the mucus secretion.
2. Never eat big meals if you are planning to eat in sometime. It is best to take a walk after a meal as the food gets digested quickly and help you get good sleep.
