1oth October each year is observed as 'World Mental Health Day' to create awareness regarding mental health issues. World Mental Health Day 2020 comes at a time when our daily lives have changed considerably as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) the theme for World Mental Health Day 2020 is 'Mental Health for All: Greater Investment - Greater Access'.

A mental illness is defined as behavioural or mental issue which makes it difficult for a person to deal with different situations in life. Surprisingly, frequent anger episodes, anxiety and panic attacks are also classified as mental disorders.
