It is said that, about 60% of the population, especially children, suffer from egg allergy, which can cause symptoms like respiratory problems, skin rashes and digestive ailments. However, most children outgrow egg allergy with age.


3. Almonds

Almond allergy is also very common, which can affect about 10% of the population, causing symptoms like respiratory problems, which can even lead to difficulty in breathing and consequent death, if immediate treatment is not given!


4. Peanuts

Affecting about 5% of the population, peanut allergy is also common, and develops in the childhood, mostly causing skin related symptoms. It is said that peanut allergy is usually outgrown.


5. Prawns

A lot of people keep reporting that they are allergic to sea food, especially prawns, which contains tropomyosin, causing allergic reactions like stomach pain, vomiting and loose-motions.


6. Wheat

Certain proteins found in wheat can trigger a number of allergic reactions that include skin hives, digestive ailments, body swelling, etc.


7. Soy

Soy and soy products can also cause allergy in some peopleand more commonly seen in children. Soy allergy can cause reactions like rashes, difficulty in breathing, etc.
