Anemia is one of the most familiar blood disorders. If you have anemia, it means that there are less number of red blood cells in your blood. It also means that the haemoglobin concentration in your blood is at a low level. Do you know there are different types of fruits you can eat when you are anemic?

Haemoglobin is the protein which is present in your blood cells that helps transport oxygen to the different organs of your body.

There can be various causes of anemia such as iron deficiency, folic acid deficiency, extreme loss of blood, deficiency of vitamin C and vitamin B12, lactation, deficiency in production of red blood cells, some diseases like AIDs, arthritis, etc.
