1. Cold Compress:
If a rash develops into blisters, then using cold compress would be a nice idea.
How to make one? A cold compress can be made at home by wrapping a washcloth, run under cold water, around a plastic bag filled with ice cubes.
How to use it? Gently dab the cold compress on the affected area at intervals of about 10-15 minutes. A word of caution! If the cold compress is placed on the rash for a long time then it may lead to numbness. If so please do stop the process.
How does it bring relief? It is interesting to know how a cold compress can go about in reducing itchiness and treating the affected area.
Slowing down the metabolism of the cells underneath the area of discomfort, a cold compress also retards the signals of pain from the nerve endings sent to the brain thus bringing the patient a lot of comfort.
2. Neem :
Neem leaves are nature's best boon to treat various ailments, especially skin rash.
How to use it? A handful of neem leaves can be boiled with a lot of water say for about 10 minutes. The medicinal properties of the leaves will get transferred to the water and to have a refreshing bath with it will aid in curing the patient's rash.
How it cures? The antimicrobial properties of the neem leaves are a natural foe to the various impurities and toxins present in the skin. So, it is pretty obvious that these leaves are a natural medicine to skin rash.
3. Aloe Vera :
There is much talk about aloe vera these days for its innumerable medicinal effects. Using its juice for skin rashes is another intelligent option.
How to use it? Aloe vera juice can be applied gently on the affected area and can be washed off say in about half an hour. This can be repeated for about 2-3 times a day to get a clear skin.
How it cures? Aloe vera is packed with the sugars such as malose and lactose and sterols which are the most powerful sources for treating skin ailments and makes it a much sorted after medicine for fungal infections.
4. Apple Cider Vinegar:
This age old medicine is a sure shot solution to all your skin allergies.
How to use it? The most important part of using apple cider vinegar is to dilute it with water to avoid its acidic nature reacting on the skin. It can be applied gently with cotton balls on the affected part.
