Drinking Coffee Can Prevent These Three Dangerous Diseases!
Stop worrying about age-related diseases with the help of coffee!
Many of us here would find it rather hard to start our day without a cup of steaming hot coffee, right?
Be it working professionals, college students or homemakers, coffee has become a morning norm to help them kick start their days.
In fact, many people are in the habit of consuming coffee more than once a day, so it has become an important part of our lifestyles.
Now, there has been a debate going on since ages ago about whether coffee is healthy or not.
Numerous research studies and medical reports have been published about this subject and they are of varying opinions when it comes to the consumption of coffee.
While some studies say that drinking coffee in minimal amounts on a regular basis can have health benefits, a few other research studies state that coffee can be extremely harmful for health.
So, as laymen reading these studies, we could get rather confused about the effects coffee can have on our health.
Now, the key to avoid having health complications by consuming coffee is to drink the beverage in limited amounts.
Consuming one or two small cups of coffee in a day can actually have a number of health benefits.
However, drinking a lot of coffee, many times a day can surely be harmful for health.
Now, we know that as we age, most people's health tends to deteriorate and we may develop certain age-related diseases.
The immune system weakens, our bones, tissues and nerves also become weaker, making us prone to certain diseases like, arthritis, dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, etc.
Along with following a healthy lifestyle right from a young age, coffee can also help prevent these age-related diseases, is what a research study says.
Have a look at what those diseases are, below.
1. Diabetes
Diabetes is a metabolic disorder in which the body develops insulin resistance or does not produce enough insulin, thus allowing the blood sugar levels to be higher than normal, giving rise to a number of undesirable symptoms. Diabetes is not curable, but can be treated.
A study published in the American Chemical Society's journal said that the antioxidants present in coffee can keep your metabolic rate healthy, thus balancing the insulin hormones to prevent diabetes in later life.
2. Stroke
Stoke is a serious and often life-threatening condition in which the tissues of the brain are damaged due to the insufficient supply of blood caused by clots.
The research study says that consuming at least a cup of coffee, without sugar every day can keep the blood vessels dilated to prevent clots and consequently prevent stroke.
3. Alzheimer’s Disease
Alzheimer's is an age-related condition in which the brain cells begin to degenerate affecting the memory, motor functions and cognitive skills of a person, thus affecting their daily activities.
The American research study has found that the caffeine in coffee can stimulate the brain cells to remain healthy and active for a longer time to prevent Alzheimer's disease.
