The stress in modern life is increasing and this is why the rate of depression is also increasing. There could be many reasons behind depression.

Vitamin B
Eating foods rich in vitamin B may help. Eggs, bell peppers, spinach, cheese, turkey, fish and wholegrain contain vitamin B. Your brain needs certain nutrients to produce certain chemicals that keep your mood stable.
Asparagus
Consume a small quantity of Asparagus root powder which soothes the nerves and brain.
Green Tea
Green tea can also boost your mood. Drink it once or twice a day.
Water Melon
Water melon can prevent depression and also relieve certain symptoms of depression.
Apple
Consume an apple along with a cup of milk in which a few drops of honey are added. You will feel energetic.
Cardamom
Crush cardamom and add it to your tea. Its aroma and flavour can soothe your mood.
Rose Tea
Prepare rose tea by boiling the petals in water. Filter the water and dink it as a tea. It may help.
Banana
Banana can lift your mood as it can boost serotonin levels in your brain.
Cashew
Cashew nuts can stimulate your nervous system and energise you. A handful of nuts occasionally can help cope up with the symptoms.
Nutmeg
A pinch of nutmeg powder mixed in a spoon of amla juice can have a soothing effect. However, don't try this remedy frequently.
Loved Ones
Try to spend most of your time with loved ones. This will also make you feel good.

Visit a doctor frequently and get medical help. You can recover faster with the help of the medical assistance.
