1. Eat Low-calorie Nutritions Foods:
Apart from her everyday workouts, there is also a strict diet plan that Sonam follows to avoid getting bulky. She eats only low-calorie nutritious foods.
2. Drinking Plenty Of Water:
She consumes a lot of water to keep her body hydrated properly. She does not consume packaged juices because of the excess sugar content in them. She eats lots of fresh veggies, fruits, grains, nuts, fish, mushroom, eggs and tofu.
3. Coconut Water:
Sonam Kapoor likes drinking a lot of fluids. Coconut water is one of her favourite drinks. Coconut water is a source of natural electrolytes and acts as a hydrating and diuretic agent. Fresh fruit juice helps to improve bowel movement.
4. Cucumber Juice:
She also likes buttermilk and cucumber juice. These drinks enhance her energy levels and help in keeping her hydrated. She consumes alcohol in moderation, but rarely. She always prefers being in a non-smoking zone. While travelling, she prefers to eat apples, health bars and sandwiches.
5. Salt & Sugar Balance:
She consumes a balanced quantity of salt and sugar and avoids excess of these. She also avoids late snacking. When she craves for sweets, she just consumes a piece of dark chocolate.
6. Avoid Junk Foods:
Sonam Kapoor avoids eating foods such as potato chips, pizza, burger, fried and oily food, sugary treats, aerated drinks, alcohol and high-carb processed foods.
Above all, she ensures she gets that eight hours of sleep without fail.
Sonam's Everyday Diet Chart
Sonam Kapoor's diet plan consists of low-fat and high-protein intake. She starts her day with a glass of juice that contains warm water, honey and lime juice. This helps to stimulate the bowel movement, boosts metabolism and helps to flush out the toxins.

Lunch:
For lunch, she consumes grilled chicken, dal, fish, salad, vegetable curry and chapatti. Pearl millet or sorghum chapati is rich in dietary fibre and helps to prevent gut problems. Daal and fish/chicken are great sources of protein that help to build lean muscle mass.
Vegetable curry and salad contain a good amount of complex carbs, dietary fibre, vitamins and minerals. They help to provide energy, promote cell function and support metabolism and digestion.
Evening Snacks:
Sonam again takes egg white and brown bread in the evening for snacks.
Dinner:
Her dinner comprises of fish, chicken soup and salad.
Sonam says she eats something every two hours because her rigorous physical tasks make her hungry. Dry fruits and nuts also help in satisfying her hunger. Nuts are rich in healthy fats that are needed to maintain cell integrity and reduce inflammation.
