19 Years Of K3G: From Flaunting Good Looks To When Poo Bani Parvati, Kareena Kapoor’s PHAT Looks Decoded

Kaun hai wo, jisne dobara mudke ke ise nahi dekha, who's he? Any idea whom we are talking about? Yes, you guessed it right! It's none other than our very favourite Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Directed by Karan Johar, the blockbuster film was released on 14 December 2001 and starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan in the lead roles. Though every actor's performance in the film was absolutely brilliant, but it was Kareena Kapoor's character Poo, who shone brighter than the rest.

In fact, for most of us, K3G was all and only about Poo. The epic dialogues of hers like 'tumhe koi haq nahi banta ki tum itni khoobsurat lago', 'good looks good looks and good looks', 'whatever' etc., brought self-love in young girls and many are still influenced by these dialogues. This look was Kareena Kapoor's first impression from the film, when she asked ‘Am I looking PHAT', and when she entered college and said one of her favourite dialogues ‘kaun hai wo jisne dobara mudke mujhe nahi dekha'. She donned a sleeveless baby-pink sequin crop top that had high-low hemline and layered it with a full-sleeved open-front pink blazer. The actress teamed her top and jacket with a low-waist neutral-toned shiny mini skirt and completed her look with a pair of heels. She accessorised her look with pink huggie earrings and spruced up her look with filled brows, kohled eyes, pink eye shadow, and nude pink lip shade. Poo let loose her highlighted tresses while the brown feather-detailed stole around her neck and pink-hued reflectors over her head added stylish quotient to her look.

While Kareena Kapoor aka Poo was looking for a perfect prom partner who has good looks, good looks and good looks, and moved ahead to rate multiple boys, she was seen exuding sassy vibes in a brown suit. Her suit consisted of a half-sleeved plunging-neckline body-hugging kurti, which was accentuated by grey and white patterns on the neckline. She teamed her kurti with slim-fit bottoms and draped a leopard-printed dupatta around her neck. The actress let loose her side-parted highlighted tresses and donned black sunglasses over her head while the square-shaped hoops upped her look. Kareena Kapoor literally left us stunned with her wow-worthy look in the song You Are My Soniya. She was decked up in leather-fabric red separates, which consisted of sleeveless crop top and low-waist slim fit pants. The diva completed her look with a pair of red heels and let loose her highlighted tresses with side-partition. Filled thick pointed brows, kohled eyes, mascara, black eyeliner with red wings, soft blush, and nude-pink lip shade enhanced her look.

‘Agar bhagwan ko dekhne ki jagah sab use ghoor ke dekh rahe the toh it's not her problem' because black makes her look thin and she definitely looked super stunning in it. Her black suit or Indo-western suit consisted of a sleeveless plunging-neckline crop top, matching pants, and a sheer net-fabric open-front shrug. To make it look like a suit, Poo draped a black dupatta around her neck and held a pooja ki thaali on her hand. In the song Bole Chudiyan, Kareena Kapoor was seen dressed in a peach-hued parallel suit, which became the perfect outfit for every girl to nail at their bff's sangeet. Her outfit consisted of a half-sleeved sweetheart-neckline blouse that was embroidered with white embellished patterns and featured asymmetrical cut at the border.
