Dr. Supraja Chandrasekar, is currently leading the growing Paediatric Intensive Care Units at the People Tree Hospitals, Bangalore

She secured first rank at the national level, Fellowship in Paediatric Intensive Care, conducted by the Indian Academy of Paediatrics.

Having realised that more than one-third of the admissions to critical care are due to preventable causes, she joined a group of like-minded friends to create the 'People Tree Foundation' – a non-profit organisation working on preventive aspects of Child Care.

She is currently leading the growing Paediatric Intensive Care Units at the People Tree Hospitals, Bangalore.

Following her training in the United Kingdom in some of the best hospitals, including the Birmingham Children’s Hospitals, she returned to India to further specialise and complete her fellowship.

She enjoys general paediatric practice as much as her critical care work and bonds instantly with the children and families she interacts with.

She has also authored a book – First Touch on newborn care written for novice parents.
