Masala Puri is an Indian dish that is a wholesome meal in itself. If you are in a holiday mood and do not want to toil too much in the kitchen, then the recipe for this masala puri will come to your rescue. You must be bored of having the regular puris with aloo sabzi. So why don't you try these Masala puris today? It is easy to make and the preparation time is not too much.
These masala puris are a combination of the regular puris with curd and other spices. While the flavour of the spices remain intact inside, the deep fried puris add to it's taste. The sourness of the curd blended with spices and wheat flour is a combination that you would not want to miss. The best part about these masala puris is that, they can be cooked for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

All you need
Wheat
flour-
2
cups
Chilli
powder-
1
tbsp
Garam
masala
powder-
½
tbsp
Jeera-
¼
tbsp
Sour
curd-
1
cup
Green
chillies-
1-2
nos.
(chopped)
Salt-
to
taste
Curry
leaves
Coriander
leaves
Oil-
for
deep
frying
Procedure
1.
Beat
the
sour
curd
till
it
becomes
smooth.
2.
Add
the
chilli
powder,
garam
masala
powder,
jeera,
curry
leaves,
coriander
leaves
and
green
chillies
to
the
curd.
Beat
this
mixture
well.
3.
Pour
this
mixture
to
the
wheat
flour,
and
add
little
water
to
it.
Add
salt
and
knead
it
well.
4.
Keep
the
dough
covered
for
15-
20
minutes.
5.
Once
the
dough
is
ready,
make
one
inch
diameter
balls
from
the
dough
and
roll
them
out
into
puris.

In
the
meantime,
heat
oil
in
pan.
Once
the
oil
is
heated,
fry
the
puris
in
it
till
they
turn
brown
evenly.
The
best
part
about
these
masala
puris
are
that,
you
do
not
need
a
sabzi
or
curry
to
go
with
it.
You
can
have
them
with
plain
or
with
raitha/curd.
