Preparing a bread pudding is far easier than other desserts as it is easy to make and is generally liked by all. The nostalgic taste has made it delicious among all age groups. It is filling and can be prepared in lots with ease. Take a look to know how to go about with the bread pudding recipe.
Although it is a grand mom recipe, the bread dessert is most preferred in families. It contains all the normal kitchen ingredients but the taste, definitely heavenly. Here is how you make it.

Bread Pudding Recipe – Christmas Special!
Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups milk
  2. 1/4 cup butter (unsalted)
  3. 1/3 cup sugar (granulated)
  4. 3 eggs
  5. 2 tsps cinnamon powder
  6. 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 3 cups bread (pieced)
  9. Chopped almonds and pistchios
  10. For Sauce:
  11. 1 cup milk
  12. 2 tsps butter
  13. 1/3 cup sugar
  14. 1 tsp vanilla
  15. 1 tsp flour
  16. Dash of salt

Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, boil milk with butter. Stir until the butter dissolves completely. Leave it to cool.
2. Combine sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat well.
3. Slowly add milk to the egg mixture and keep stirring.
4. Spread the bread pieces in a greased casserole. Sprinkle the chopped almonds and pistachios.
5. Pour the milk mixture slowly and evenly. Bake it for 45 to 50 minutes (at 350 degrees F) and serve warm.
6. In a separate bowl, mix the sauce ingredients. Add to the bread dessert and serve. Tasty bread pudding is ready.
