Oysters In Mushroom Sauce For Valentine

Oysters In Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • Oysters- 10 (shells removed)
  • Mushrooms- 10 (diced)
  • Onions- 2 (diced)
  • Garlic- 6 (minced)
  • Green chillies- 3 (minced)
  • Tomato- 1 (diced)
  • Red bell peppers- 1/2 (diced)
  • Green bell peppers- 1/2 (diced)
  • Soy sauce- 1tbsp
  • Pepper- 1/2tsp
  • Asparagus- 2 sprigs (chopped)
  • Butter- 1tbsp
  • Salt- as per taste

Procedure

  1. Melt the butter in a deep bottomed pan. Add onions to it and saute for 3-4 minutes on a low flame.
  2. Now add the oysters and mushrooms. Saute for another 2-3 minutes on a low flame.
  3. Spice it up with minced garlic and chillies. Cook for 2 minutes on a low flame.
  4. Add the diced bell peppers and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Now add diced tomatoes, sprinkle salt and pepper. Cover and cook for around 4-5 minutes on a low flame.
  6. Add soy sauce and mix it up properly with all the ingredients. You can also add a cup of water if it is too dry.
  7. Add asparagus to get herb based flavour in the oysters in mushroom sauce. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes more.

You can have the oysters in mushroom sauce as a platter or enjoy it with Chinese fried rice.
