    Must Try Home Remedies To Revitalise The Skin

    Revitalise The Skin

    Here are some simple home remedies that you can use to remove dullness and revitalize the skin. Read on.



    The hydrating properties of cucumber help in nourishing the skin. Also, cucumber has antioxidants that help in rejuvenating the skin thus making the skin glow. In addition to this, regular usage of cucumber can also give younger looking skin.

    Grate half portion of a cucumber first. Add 2 tbsp of this grated cucumber in a bowl. Add half a cup of plain yogurt in order to make a pack. Apply this cucumber and yogurt pack on cleansed face and leave it on for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes you can wash it off using cold water.

    Rich in vitamin A, C and E and antioxidants, papaya helps in rejuvenating the skin. The alpha hydroxy acids in papaya help in exfoliating the skin and removing the dead skin cells. It also helps in treating dark spots, blemishes.

    All you need is ripe papaya, raw honey and a few drops of fresh lemon juice. In a bowl, add 2 tbsp mashed papaya. Into it, add 1 tbsp of raw honey and a few drops of lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well and apply it on your face. Let it stay for a few minutes after it gets dry. You can wash it off using normal water.



    Yogurt, as we all know, works effectively on the skin. The lactic acid in yogurt acts as a natural cleanser that will deeply cleanse and nourish the skin.

    In a bowl, add about 2 tbsp plain yogurt, ½ tsp gram flour and ½ tsp of turmeric powder. Blend the three ingredients well. Apply this thick paste on your face and neck and allow it to dry and later you can rinse it off using normal water. You can repeat this remedy at least twice a week.


    Orange Peel

    Orange helps in reducing the blemishes of the skin with its Vitamin C and antioxidants thus helping in maintaining a healthy skin.

    All you need to do is to dry the orange peel and grind it to make a fine powder. Add half a tsp of gram flour into it and mix it with water so that it becomes a thick paste. Apply it over your skin and let it dry before washing it off.
