Get Rid Of Oily Skin Easily At Home Using Turmeric!

Different Types Of Turmeric Face Packs For Oily Skin

Turmeric, lemon juice and gram flour face pack

Ingredients

• 1 tbsp turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 2-3 tbsp gram flour

How to do:

1. Take a bowl and mix the turmeric, gram flour and lemon juice in it.
2. Add water accordingly and make a semi-thick paste. Make sure that the quantity of water is not more so that the paste doesn't start pouring down the neck.
3. With the help of a face pack brush, apply it evenly on your face and leave it for 12-15 minutes.
4. After it gets dried, wash it off gently with cold water and pat it dry with a towel.
5. With a regular use of twice a week, you can feel the reduction in oil production on your skin.
6. Caution - some people might be allergic to turmeric and can suffer from itching and a pale yellow colour. So, know your skin type first and then use turmeric.

This face pack will work because the acidic nature of lemon helps in extracting excessive oil and as mentioned above, turmeric is a natural exfoliator.

Turmeric, lemon and yoghurt face pack

Ingredients

• ½ tbsp turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 ½ tbsp yoghurt

How to do

1. Take a bowl and mix the turmeric powder, yoghurt and lemon juice in it.
2. As yogurt is already in a semi-liquid form, water is not required. So, make a thick paste and apply it evenly on your face along with your neck with the help of a face pack brush.
3. Keep it for 10-15 mins and let it dry.
4. After it dries, wash it off with cold or lukewarm water thoroughly and pat it dry with a fresh towel.
5. A frequent use of this face pack twice to thrice a week will show great effects.

This face pack will work because lemon is rich in vitamin C and citric acid which exfoliates the skin and helps in taking off excessive oil. Yoghurt has astringent properties which help in fighting and shrinking pores which, of course, helps in removing excessive oil off the face.

Turmeric and cucumber face pack

Ingredients

• 1 tbsp turmeric powder
• ½ cup cucumber juice

How to do:

1. Take a bowl and mix the turmeric powder and cucumber juice well and make a thick paste.
2. Apply it evenly on the face with the help of a face brush and let it dry for 12-15 minutes.
3. After it dries, wash it off well with cold or lukewarm water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
4. A regular use of this face pack thrice a week will give a rejuvenating effect on your skin.
This face pack works because of the hydrating property of the cucumber. Cucumber has 90% water content which shrinks pores and helps in keeping off the excess oil from the skin.
