1. Do Not Exfoliate

Just after getting your facial done, you should never exfoliate your skin, as it may reverse the effect on the skin. While getting a facial done, the expert exfoliates your skin well, so that the dirt and dust get out easily.

Exfoliating a few hours or days after a facial can leave you with astonishing results. Overexfoliating your skin may damage the skin cells and leave you with rough patches on the skin. Also, exfoliating excessively and vigorously can help to leave your skin dehydrated.

Soon after your facial, you should prevent waxing your skin. The topmost layer of the skin is quite soft and sensitive and hence you should be very cautious while waxing your face.

It is strictly advised that you should not wax your skin after a facial, as it may affect the upper layer of the skin drastically. Using a hot wax on the skin is an aggressive form of waxing, which should be strictly prevented after a facial.

Getting a botox after a facial should be strictly prohibited, as it may lead to a skin disaster. According to experts, it is said that if you are getting a botox done soon after a facial, there are chances that it can lead to breakouts, acne problem, and infection on the face.

So, getting a botox may leave your skin with redness and inflammation. So, it is always good to prevent going in for a botox session after 72 hours of facial.

You should prevent using chemical peels with Vitamin C or fruit extract in them, as these ingredients may react with the skin easily, thus leading to inflammation and irritation on the skin. It is said that you should not use chemical peels before 36 hours of a facial process.
