1. Avoid Using Shaving Tools

You should avoid using shaving tools like a razor, at any cost, on your skin. Shaving does not pull out the hair from the roots and hence you have to shave those hair strands quite often. Shaving quite often can lead to continuous friction in a particular area, thus giving rise to sideburns.

2. Use Of Turmeric

Using raw turmeric on the face can help to get rid of the sideburns. Make a paste of turmeric and honey or milk and then apply it on the face. Now, apply turmeric paste on the skin as well as the sideburns, as it helps to slow down the growth of hair in that area. Another way to use turmeric is to make a paste of yogurt and turmeric and rub it near the side locks.

3. Threading

Threading is a better and quick-fix to get rid of the sunburns on face. Threading of sideburns is similar like you get your eyebrows done. Threading helps to pull out the hair from the roots. Threading is a better option than waxing, especially if you have sensitive skin. Over the time when hair grows, it is less noticeable.

4. Potatoes And Lentils

A facial mask of potato juice and lentils can be one of the easiest home remedies to remove sideburns. Take some potato juice and add 2 spoons of yellow lentil powder to it. Mix both the ingredients together and apply it on the sideburns. This mask helps to clear up the clogged pores and prevents hair growth. Rinse thoroughly with cold water and apply twice in a day.

5. Waxing

This is a good option for those who are comfortable with this procedure. Waxing your sideburns gives you a clean result that helps makeup go on evenly and also you won't need to deal with stubborn hair on the face. Continous waxing after an equal period of time can make the hair grow finer and softer than before. For those who have sensitive skin, they should avoid getting their sideburns waxed.

6. Papaya Mask

Mash some papaya and add some milk cream to it. Add one spoon of turmeric and one spoon of lemon juice to the paste and mix them together. Apply this mask on the face and wash off with cold water. Using papaya mask can help to reduce the growth of unwanted hair on the face. Apart from this, papaya also works as an excellent bleaching ingredient that helps to give you flawless skin.
