Olive Oil

Olive oil has antioxidants and vitamin E, both of which can heal, repair and rejuvenate dry skin cells.Take a few drops of olive oil on the tip of your fingers, massage it on to the affected area, every night, before going to bed.

Aloe Vera

It is high on healing properties, which not just soothes pain, but also removes flaky skin and mends broken tissues. Rub raw aloe vera gel on the area, let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse. Repeat this home remedy for dry skin around mouth twice a day.

Almond Oil

Just like olive oil, almond oil too contains high moisturising properties, which can heal and nourish broken skin cells. Massage the affected area with a few drops of almond oil, every night, before going to bed. Let your skin naturally absorb the nutritional properties.


Sugar makes for an excellent exfoliator, which can remove dry skin, without causing inflammation. Mix 1 teaspoon of sugar with a few drops of olive oil. Dab it on the area around your mouth, and start scrubbing it in a circular motion. Rinse with plain water. Follow it up with a nourishing moisturiser.


Milk cream is a powerhouse of antioxidants, proteins, potassium and minerals, all of which exfoliate the skin, and deeply hydrate it, removing the patches. Coconut Oil
