Ways To Apply Kajal Without Smudging
How often have you come across the statement that your eyes serve as the window to your soul? There appears to be a number of reasons why this phrase is believed to be true, be it the fact that your eyes betray your emotions far better than your words ever could or because your eyes serve as the most noticeable aspect about your appearance when a person looks at you.
Why You Should Remove Makeup Before Bed?
Beautiful eyes are something that every woman loves to flaunt. While some are born with luscious eyes, others need to do some amount of touching up to accentuate their beauty. This is why cosmetic products such as highlighter, mascara, eye shadow, liner, and kajal are all so commonly used by them.
If you are a woman with a flawless make up around your eyes, not only does it help in enhancing your overall look but it also gives a modest and chic impression to your appearance. While all other eye-products give you the freedom to experiment and do not require you to be totally perfect, the same cannot be said about kajal.
It is a common complaint among women that kajal- or kohl, for those unfamiliar with the term- rarely holds on to its original place and turns into a horrible smudge that, apart from spoiling the makeup, also gives a scary appearance to the woman in question.
As a result of smudging, women end up with dark-circled, dull eyes in place of what should ideally have been elegant, kajal-lined eyes.
So how to apply kajal perfectly, I hear many of you ask. Fear not, here is a guide on ways to apply kajal without smudging that will help you retain the graceful looks to your eyes in all circumstances.
If you are working with a kajal pencil, ensure that you make a start at the outer corner and work your way towards the inside. You need to maintain your use of short strokes. Do not feel shy about pressing down the liner pencil on the waterline for this won’t hurt you in any way.
While producing these pencils, manufacturers take into account the area where they will be predominantly used which is the main reason behind them being soft and creamy.
If you are of the opinion that you have eyes that are too watery and not conducive to the use of regular kajal pencils, try switching over to a gel liner with a brush. Try them on for a couple of times. If they result in a teary, red look to your eyes it is advisable that you stop using them and return to the good old kajal pencils.
Another suggestion on how to apply kajal correctly so that it stays put for a longer duration would be to dip the regular kajal pencil in a pot of black gel liner before applying along the waterline. This happens to be one of the few tips for applying kajal that helps in intensifying the blackness while also eradicating any possibility of smudges to your makeup.
As with all other makeup, applying kajal is an art in its own right. Just do the basics right and follow these tips for applying kajal, and you too can learn how to apply kajal perfectly for a smudge-free look.
