Home Remedies For Treating Scabs On The Scalp

Aloe vera gel

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp aloe vera gel
  • 2 Vitamin E capsules/ 2 tbsp Vitamin E powder

How to do

  • In a small bowl, add some aloe vera gel and Vitamin E powder and mix both the ingredients well
  • If you do not have powder, crack open two Vitamin E pills and pour its contents into the aloe vera gel bowl and mix it.
  • Apply this mixture on your scabs and let it stay for an hour.
  • Rinse it off later and use your regular shampoo

Lemon juice

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

How to do

  • In a bowl,add some olive oil and slightly warm it in the microwave. 
  • Now, take it off the heat and add some lemon juice to it. Mix well.
  • Now apply the mixture on the affected area and leave it on for half an hour
  • Wash if off using a mild shampoo

Apple cider vinegar

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup warm water

How to do

  • Take a cup filled with warm water and add apple cider vinegar to it. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture on your scalp and massage for a few minutes
  • Rinse it off with a shampoo and conditioner

Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp raw oatmeal
  • 4 tbsp water

How to do

  • In a small bowl, add some oatmeal and water and mix both the ingredients so that it forms a semi-thick paste
  • Apply this paste on your scalp and leave it on for 10-15 minutes
  • Wash it off using your regular shampoo.

Jojoba oil & tea tree oil

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp jojoba oil
  • 2 tbsp tea tree oil

How to do

  • Mix both the oils in a bowl in equal quantities.
  • Take generous amount of the oil concoction and massage your scalp with it using your fingertips for about 5 minutes
  • Let it stay for another 10 minutes and later proceed to wash it off using a mild shampoo

Coconut oil & olive oil

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

How to do

  • In a small bowl, add some coconut oil and olive oil and mix both the oils together to form a concoction. 
  • Apply the oil concoction on your scalp and massage using your fingertips.
  • Allow it to stay for 15 minutes before you wash it off with your regular shampoo.
