    Tea Tree Oil:

    Tea tree oil really helps balance the oil on the scalp and helps get rid of flakes on the scalp. It is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, which helps because dandruff occurs as a result of fungal infection on the scalp.

    Mix some salt into your shampoo and use this to scrub your scalp with. This will ensure that all the dead skin cells get removed from the scalp and that none of the flakes fall off and embarrass you.


    Lemon Juice:

    You must have seen a lot of anti-dandruff shampoos that have lemon juice in them. Apply some lemon juice on to your scalp and leave it on for at least 15 minutes. Tthen, wash it off using a shampoo. Your dandruff will be gone in no time at all.

    Aloe Vera Gel:

    Apple Cider Vinegar:

    Dilute some apple cider vinegar with water and apply this to your scalp. This will help maintain the pH level of the scalp and also keep the flakes away. Wash and condition as you usually would after 15 minutes.


    Neem Leaves:

    Make a paste out of neem leaves and water and apply this. This works very well because neem is anti-fungal in nature and helps keep oily dandruff at bay.


    Baking Soda:

    Make a DIY shampoo with baking soda and water. Use this in place of your regular shampoo to get rid of the dandruff flakes that may further aggravate on an oily scalp.
