  • 1 tablespoon of amla powder
  • Any hair oil depending on the hair length


1) Mix the amla powder into your regular hair oil to get shiny and bouncy hair. It will also help increase hair volume.

2) Amla Powder And Henna For Hair Growth:

When mixed with henna powder, amla's potency increases. Both are good for the scalp and promote healthy hair growth. Henna is also a natural colorant that gives a lovely reddish-brown tint to the hair.


  • 1 tablespoon of amla powder
  • 3 tablespoons of henna powder
  • Water as required


1) Mix both the powders along water and make a thick paste.
2) Let the mixture rest for 5-6 hours.

2) Keep the water for boiling and add the amla pieces to it.
3) After 15 minutes, strain the mixture and let it cool.

4) Amla And Shikakai Hair Mask For Healthy Hair:

Shikakai is another wonder ingredient for the hair. Mix it with amla to end all your hair woes.


  • 2 tablespoons of amla powder
  • 2 tablespoons of shikakai powder
  • Water


1) Take both the powders into a bowl.
2) Add water to it and make a thick paste.
3) Apply it onto the hair scalp and length and keep it on for half an hour.
4) Wash it with cold water.

5) Amla Oil To Combat Dandruff And Itchy Scalp:

  • 3-4 amlas cut into pieces.

  • 3 tablespoons of amla juice
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

The vitamin C in the amla juice has cleansing properties. Mix it with an egg to nourish your scalp.


  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of amla juice


1) Beat the egg in a bowl.
2) Add the amla juice to it.

  • 250 ml of water
  • 1 teaspoon of amla powder
  • 3 reetha pieces
  • 3 shikakai pieces


1) Soak all the above ingredients in the water for 6-7 hours.
2) After 6-7 hours, boil the complete mixture for 5 minutes.
3) Let it cool and strain.
4) This strained liquid can be used as a paraben and SLS-free shampoo.

9) Amla And Bhringraj Hair Mask:

This hair mask is an excellent remedy for dry and damaged hair.


  • 2 tablespoons of amla powder
  • 2 tablespoons of Bhringraj powder


1) Mix both the powders along with some water to make a paste.
2) Apply it onto the scalp and let it dry for 15-20 minutes.
3) Rinse with warm water.

10) Dry Amla With Tulsi To Eliminate Dandruff

Dry amla when used along with tulsi can help you get rid of dandruff in no time.


  • 3-4 dry amla pieces
  • 10 tulsi leaves
  • Water


1) Boil some water in a bowl.
2) Add the amla pieces and tulsi leaves and bring it to a boil.
3) Let it cool and strain the mixture.
4) Use this as a last rinse after shampooing.
