Papaya + Yogurt
This mask relieves scalp of itchiness, while making the hair smooth and silky.
Take half a cup of mashed papaya and mix it with 2 teaspoons of yogurt. Mix it until you get a smooth paste. Apply the mask through your hair length and scalp. Cover your hair with a hot towel. Let it sit for an hour and then rinse it off with a mild shampoo.
Papaya + Coconut Milk + Honey
This papaya mask strengthens the roots and prevents hair fall. Take 2 tablespoons of mashed papaya, mix it with 1 tablespoon of coconut milk and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix it until you get a smooth mask. Apply the mask on slightly damp hair. Let it sit for an hour. Later, shampoo and condition as usual.
Papaya + Jojoba Oil + Honey
To add volume, softness and shine back to your hair, try this simple papaya mask.
Add 3 tablespoons of mashed papaya, with 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil and a tablespoon of honey in a bowl. Using a fork, mix it well. Dividing your hair into small sections, and apply the mask to slightly wet hair. Let the mask sit for 45 minutes. Then, cleanse the mask away with a mild cleansing shampoo.
Papaya + Banana + Honey
Ideal for dry and brittle hair, mash 7 pieces of papaya with 1 ripe banana, in a blender. Add a tablespoon of honey to the mask and mix it well. Slightly dampen your hair and apply the mask. Let it sit for an hour and then cleanse as usual.
Papaya + Lemon + Honey
To keep nasty flaky dandruff at bay, apply this mask at least once a week. Take 3 tablespoons of mashed papaya. Add in a teaspoon of lemon juice and an equal amount of honey. Beat it until you get a smooth mask. Spritz your hair with some water and then apply the mask. Let it sit for an hour and later rinse it clean.
