Here is a step-by-step guide on how to remove scars from the skin naturally.
Take half a piece of nutmeg and grind it into fine powder. Nutmeg has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce any inflammation, plus its rough granules slough off the dead skin layer, lightening any blemishes.
Take a teaspoon of nutmeg powder and mix it with an equal quantity of honey. Honey is rich in amino acids that help the skin retain its moisture balance.
Add 3 to 5 drops of lemon juice to the mixture. Lemon juice has natural bleaching properties that help lighten skin tone.
Add half a teaspoon of tomato juice to the mixture. Beta-carotene present in tomato removes tan, repairs the damaged skin cells and promotes the reproduction of new skin tissues.
Cleanse your face with plain water to remove the day's dirt and grime buildup. In case if your skin is excessively oily, use a mild face wash to clean it off.
Apply a thin coat of the mask evenly to your face and neck, leaving the area around your mouth and eyes. Let the mask sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
Once you feel the mask become dry, spritz some water onto your face and scrub it in a circular motion for 2 minutes and then rinse it with plain water. Follow it up by washing your face with cold water.
Massage your skin with a light moisturiser that is compatible with your skin type.
Instead of tomato juice, you can also use aloe vera in the mask. Powerful antioxidants present in aloe vera will help soothe any inflammation, relax the skin and lighten blemishes.
