Heat coconut oil, let the oil cool. Once it is lukewarm, immerse your finger in it and let it stay for 10 minutes. Later, massage your fingers thoroughly with the oil. Wear gloves and go to sleep. By morning, your hands will be supper soft and your nails glossy.

Yet another use of coconut oil for skin. Mix a quarter of coconut oil with a few drops of lavender oil. Immediately after bath, massage your skin with the concoction, and your skin will remain soft, supple and with a healthy glow to it, all day long.

To tame frizz and unwanted fly-aways, all you need to do is to take a few drops of coconut oil in your palms. Rub it in between your hands and sparsely rub it on your hair. Then, comb as usual. Your hair will remain set all day long.

Hair Mask
Take a tablespoon of ripe avocado. Mash it into a smooth pulp, and add a few drops of coconut oil. Mix until you get a smooth paste. Wet your hair. And apply the mask through your hair length and scalp. Let it sit for 40 minutes. Shampoo and condition as usual.
