Kadaloadaa kaalval nedunaer kadaloadum
Naavaayum oadaa nilathu

The strong-wheeled chariot cannot be driven on the high seas,
So too, the swift sailing ship cannot be propelled on land.

The idea is that every kind of transport is designed for use in a particular medium, which cannot be changed at will.

Everything has its appropriate place, where alone it is powerful and efficient. This position has to be correctly appreciated and provided for in any well-planned operational strategy.

The figure of speech of Piritu molital is adopted by the poet here also.
