Men of clear vision, who have overcome human follies, will not speak Meaningless and idle words, even by lapse of memory.

Idle words cannot emanate from a man of clear vision, who has overcome delusion, even by a lapse of memory; it just cannot happen. Parithiar would consider that 'pochchaandhun' is equivalent to 'Vilaiyaatilum' meaning even in fun.

The expression 'Maasaru kaatci yavar', occurs also in a alter Kural 352.
