What Happens After We Die?

The questions surrounding birth and death have often times bothered us, especially when we, without notice, have to sometimes deal with the death of a loved one. Different people have different views about the aspect of death, this, a direct fall out of religious implications emanating from the faith they pursue in their lives. This article answers the question, what happens to us after we die and discusses the concept of life after death. It substantively, yet concisely describes the purpose of life and eventually goes on to tackle the question, what happens to us after we die.

What Happens After We Die?

What needs to be understood in the most fundamental sense is that death isn't the end of story. Death is just the end of one phase of the sacred journey we all describe as "life". Almost every religion, based on sound understanding, declares that the atma is an entity that never perishes. The atma is what gives us life and can never perish, for it is energy.

According to the fundamental law of physics, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be transferred from one form to another.

So what then happens to us after we die? Do we go to another universe? Are we reborn to experience the effects of the causes we have created during incessant lifetimes? Most importantly, does the soul depart from our body and go on to exist in a non human form? These questions have troubled not just scientists, but spiritual thinkers alike.

Many people have elucidated their experiences. Scientists have a new theory which says that when death occurs, quantum particles that form part of the soul move to higher realms in the universe. People who came out of coma have also described distinct experiences. For instance, a top neurosurgeon who came out of coma said that he actually felt his soul reaching a different plane in the universe. He also went on to say that he felt complete, with knowledge overflowing beyond imagination.

Citing these experiences and studies looking at the soul being a form of energy, it can be ascertained, quite credibly, that life is eternal. On the basis of the causes we create, our soul reaches a corresponding plane.
