Master Ikkyu made to the place of Ninakawa when he was nearing his end. He asked Ninakawa “Shall I lead you on?"

Ninakawa replied to "Since I came here alone, I will also have to go alone"

Ikkyu poured forth the words of wisdom "If you feel you really come and go, it is just that you are deluded. Let me open the path to you sans coming and going".

Hearing the words Ninakawa smiled to its clarity and passed away.
