Plan Your Own Wedding Day
Planning a wedding is not easy. If you wish to plan your wedding by yourself without the help of a wedding planner, then it is best if you work well in advance to make even the minor plans successful.
A wedding planner can be organised to make your day special. But, organising the most awaited day of your life with the help of your fiance is indeed worth it.
A big day like a wedding, if not planned well and organised will lead to chaos and confusion. So here are a few tips on how to plan your wedding and make it a day to be remembered.
1.When you are planning your day with your fiance, it is better that you both sit down and talk about what wedding you both would want to have.
2.Maintain a check list of the things that you are going to do. Make a copy for your partner and tick out the things that you have got placed. Don't try to do all the things on the check-list by yourself as you will get overwhelmed.
3.Once you and your partner are ready with the check-list, set a wedding date. Set a date that gives you both ample time to get all the arrangements in order. Keep in mind to set the date according to the wedding hall for the reception.
4.Once the basic check-list of the wedding hall and other details are in place. Sit down with both the families and make a wedding guest list. See to it that the guest list can be accommodated in the reception hall you have in mind.
5.It is advisable if you send out the wedding invitations well in advance. This will be easy for those who will be travelling to make arrangements to attend the wedding.
6.Arrange well in advance for the wedding dress, the groom's tux and also for the bridesmaid dresses. See to it that you receive it well in advance too, at least ten days before the wedding.
7.The budget for the wedding is the most important. You and your fiance have to set a budget for your special day and make sure that you stick to only that amount. Keep aside a certain amount of ready cash in case of an emergency.
8.Be sure to book the hall in advance, the photographer, the food to be organised and other minor details like flower arrangements, thank you cards etc.
With all these ideas and tips in mind, you are sure to see that your wedding day will be a grand success and a dream come true.
