A Heroic Mum On Battle!

By Staff

Mother & son
Are you one among the parents who goes numb even when your little one catch a sneeze? Then British mother Cordelia Nolan's life will be a lesson for you.

Cordelia Nolan has risen to the status of a heroic mum as she had saved life of her 12-week old son four times in 10 minutes!

Little Emry was born 10 weeks premature. Ms. Nolan opted for 999-telephone training at that time, fearing any emergency for her little one. As she had feared little Emry stopped breathing at home. His colour went out and the baby became blue.

Without being panic, Ms. Nolan asked her cousin to dial 999. She started Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), an emergency medical procedure for a victim of cardiac arrest or, sometimes, respiratory arrest, as per the directions of an emergency telephone operator.

Cordelia Nolan gave her little Emrys 30 pumps in the chest for every two breaths. She listened for his breath and gave mouth to mouth and mouth to nose air supply. The baby continued to come back to life and dry back for about four times. Despite fearing to lose him, Ms. Nolan followed the instructions correctly. By the time paramedics arrived, the heroic mum has pumped her son's heart back to life.

Ms. Nolan feels that there is nothing heroic in her act. This must be the action any mother should do for their kids. The only thing little Emry owes to her is his well life in the future! AGENCIES
