How Men should Dress On A Date

If the first step to a man"s heart is through his stomach then the first step to a woman"s heart is to dress well. Women love men who know what to wear, when, and how to carry themselves. Six days of the week you may or may not be dressed appropriate for your office but on the seventh day, if you have planned a date, you have to dress right. Dressing up for a date, is the most difficult for men as most of the time they are not sure what would impress the women and trying on different dresses in front of the mirror is not a good idea. Well, the first rule for men dressing for a date is to be yourself. Don"t dress to impress but dress your best. Here are few tips for men on dressing up for a date –

1. Right Shoes – Shoes are woman's first love. So, it"s important that you have the right shoes on. Your shoes should be in accordance with your clothing and ambiance. Do not wear those new men heel shoes. Women don"t seem to like them much. Even if you are small heighted, heel shoes are not the solution. For funky outfits, stick to white or blue shoes but never wear a red shoe, until you are very sure. Your shoes should be neat and if it"s a bit innovative, it may just add on to your style.

2. Hat – Hat"s match with casual clothes and make you look stylish. But they should be used judiciously. Unless you are sure which hat is for which occasion, it"s better not to use it. If you are wearing a hat, make sure you drop it when you are talking to the girl. Wearing on your hat while talking to her will tell her that you are insecure and are avoiding eye contact.

3. Sun Glasses – Sun glasses or shades as they are called, should never be in jazzy colours like silver. It is best to stick to black, brown or bluish shades. Sober colours will make her comfortable to converse. Take off your glasses while talking to her. Eye contact while talking to a girl is very important. If you try and avoid it by using shades, the result could be disastrous.

4. Accessories – Your accessories are your actual identity. This is an universal truth. A person buy"s accessories with which he relates, which speaks his mind out. Thus, be careful while flaunting your accessories. Don"t wear loud accessories. Women like regular men. Thus, the combination of simplicity, uniqueness and style should be present in your accessories.

5. Hair Style – Your hair style should suit you and your age. You should have a neat and tidy hair style. Short hair suits men the best but if your personality can carry a long hair style, then go for it. Applying gel to your hair may make the occasion seem formal while just brushing it up will add on a boyish charm. Suit your hair style to the occasion.

6. Suit - Avoid wearing a suit. It is very formal. Wear it only when necessary. Women too don"t like men to wear suit on a date. This does not help them in feeling comfortable while conversing.
