Summer Juices For Pregnant Women
Whatever you eat during pregnancy has a great impact on your health. When you are expecting, you need to watch out on what you eat and drink. For example, a pregnant woman must have lots of folate rich foods to allow proper growth and development of the foetus. But when it comes to fruits, very few pregnant women know the list of healthy fruits that they can consume during this period.
Fruit juice is very good and nutritious for the health. As summer season is going on, you need to stay hydrated. Pregnant women need to take more healthy fluids like fruit juice during this season as dehydration is a common health problem. Moreover, constipation is another most viral health problem in pregnant women. Fruit juices benefit pregnant women by curing all these health problems. It eases stool, cleanses the body by flushing out toxins and free radicals, and keeps you hydrated.
So, instead of gulping down chilled sodas (which is extremely harmful during pregnancy) or wine, here are a few healthy summer juices for pregnant women.

This dairy product is healthy and nutritious for pregnant women. It is rich in calcium and iron which are highly required by the body during pregnancy.
Carrot juice
It is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants that is healthy. Moreover, carrot juice is good for the skin and hair.
Lemon juice
It keeps you hydrated, helps fight nausea and morning sickness and also flushes out toxins from the body.
Pudhina or mint water
This is another healthy fluid that pregnant women can have. Mint leaves provide a cooling effect and is a natural cure for vomiting and nausea.
Avocado juice
This is a healthy juice for pregnant women. It contains potassium which promotes baby's growth and development.
Banana juice
Apart from being nutritious it is a healthy fruit juice for pregnant women. Bananas flushes out toxins from the body, cures irregular bowel movements and also aids digestion.
Mango juice
Summer is the season of mangoes. There are many myths that pregnant women should not have mango juice. However, you can have mango juice or milkshake during your pregnancy. If you have any doubt, consult your doctor.
Cucumber juice
This vegetable juice provides a cooling effect to the body and keeps you hydrated. Pregnant women can have this healthy and low in calories vegetable juice.
