You baby bump seems like a basketball as your uterus is 11/2 to 21/2 inches above belly button. The baby kicks are felt and you must be preparing to deal with his tantrums. As a mother, you will plan on baby care, buy books and talk only about the soon arriving bundle of joy. The second trimester phase is soon coming to end and you are gradually preparing self for the third and final trimester.

Baby Development: Your baby may weight about 2 pounds in six months pregnancy. He is pedaling and active. He opens and closes eyes in reaction to light. His vocal chords are fully functioning and hiccups are common.

Six Months Pregnancy Symptoms:

Your body is bloating month by month and the associated symptoms too. Fatigue, pain and irritation in the abdomen, stretch marks, constipation, heartburns, indigestion, increased appetite, nasal congestion, headaches, muscle cramps, vericose veins, hemorrhoids, backache, protruding naval, fuller breasts, anxiety, mood swings are common in six months pregnancy.

Weight gain is inevitable so a healthy diet and exercise can maintain 25 weeks pregnant woman. Simple stretches, yoga exercises, breathing exercises and meditation will help in stretching pelvic muscles for easy baby delivery and mental fitness.

Drinking plenty of water and vitamin fruit drinks will keep body hydrated and also help in removing toxins.

Six months pregnancy basically involves preparing body for a higher weight gain, mental stability and relaxation. Musical therapy, swimming and hot water bath can help you feel better.
