Fourth Month Pregnant
If you are 17 weeks pregnant, you have a lot of surprises all through the month. You can see fetal growth week by week with the fourth month pregnancy symptoms. The bump is a little more and your clothes (especially those hip hugging ones) will no longer fit you. There is also a gain in the overall weight.

Your baby is now capable of its own insulin and bile production. It will urinate some amount of amniotic fluid every 1 hour or so. Its heart is pumping about 25 quarts of blood every day. The baby's teeth is fully developed and his hair pattern can also be seen. Gender prediction is still doubtful during the fourth month pregnancy.

Fourth month marks the beginning of the second trimester. Here are the common symptoms.
1. Fatigue
2. Your face looks radiant than ever
3. Your body is bloating
4. Morning Sickness/ Nausea subsides
5. Constipation
6. Emotional changes include excitement, doubts, pride, irritated etc.
7. The skin in the abdomen, legs and breasts stretch and show marks.

There is a definite need to revamp your maternity wardrobe. Get comfortable clothes so that you can wear until postpartum. It is the time to take baby care classes and do some simple stretch exercises.

One common body change during fourth month pregnancy is the heaviness in the pelvic region. If you feel difficulty while sleeping, tuck pillows between legs and behind your back so it provides support and makes you feel relaxed.
