Parenting is enlightening and fun; it is also tiring especially for new mothers who also happen to be working mothers. Just as you beging to revel in the joy of being a mother, you realise that your maternity leave is over and you have a ton of work waiting for you at the office. Returning to work as a new mom can be daunting. But don't lose heart, here are a few tips that'll help you regain that confidence.
Suddenly you are confronted with the enormous task of juggling your motherhood with your career. Even though it sounds harsh, going back to work is an unbeatable truth that you have to cope up with.
STARTED WORKING & LEFT YOUR NEWBORN AT HOME?
Think about its benefits! You need to get out and be the professional you were, your baby will not get spoiled by you doting on him all the time, and will learn to take baby steps of independence.
Of course, it will not so easy. You will be riddled with guilt and worry, but remember that countless women have done this before you. Be very organized and do not hesitate to ask for help. Here are some tips for new moms returning to work.

At last, a shred of hope for mothers returning to work after maternity leave. This phase will soon be over. You will soon be an expert at multitasking and you will not be able to imagine a different life as your baby will grow up.
The perfect balance
As a new mom getting back to work, try for the perfect balance between being a mother, a wife and a career woman. It might mean a pile of dirty dishes in the sink, but you will have to work out a feasible schedule.

If you are a new mom returning to work, make friends with other moms in your neighbourhood or office. Take time to bond with these women as they are your emotional support group.
Early to bed
New moms getting back to work should take care to go to bed early. Most of you will get up in the middle of the night to feed your baby; and you will be working the whole day, so you need rest.
Always have a Plan B
All new moms returning to work must have a backup plan in case your babysitter cannot make it. You or your husband can try taking the day off or engage a free family member for the day.
Prepare the night before
For new moms returning to work, do not leave everything for day break. Put out your clothes and get ready your files the previous night so that you will not be in a rush in the morning.
