It takes 9 months for the uterus to stretch, then how will it go back to normal instantly. The uterus will go back to its normal size in a few months.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are preventable but not completely. Some lucky women escape without a single stretch mark on their body. But a majority of new moms will notice stretch marks appear on their lower abdomen, breasts and thighs within a few weeks of delivery.

All the hormonal upheaval makes your breasts grow in size. Beside,s when you are lactating, your breasts are bound to sag a bit. Follow the right breastfeeding process and wear nursing undergarments to prevent further sagging.

General Weight Gain

Your baby can weigh anything between 2.5 to 4 kgs. But the average weight gain during pregnancy is 10 kgs. So you are left with 5 to 6 kgs of extra weight to lose before you fit into your old jeans.

Hair Loss

A pregnancy drains your body of nutrients and leaves you with weakness. Postnatal hair fall happens due to lack of nutrition and hormonal changes. Be on a healthy diet to recover soon.

Loose Vagina

If you have a vaginal delivery, the huge amount of dilating will make your vagina a little looser than it was. You can try pulling you vaginal muscles in, holding it for 30 seconds and leaving it again. This helps to tighten the vaginal muscles.
