Constipation is a condition in which the bowel movements of a person are irregular, leading to hardening of the stools and difficulty in passing stools.

If one does not treat constipation at the right time, it can lead to major health complications like piles and fistula.

Constipation is seen often in kids, as they may not know what to do when they get the urge to pass stools, so controlling that urge can lead to hardening of the stools.

Also, many a times, young children are given diets that are low in fibre content, which may be yet another reason for constipation.
