When your kid is frustrated about something, the first thing to do is to make him sit in one place. In order to relax an agitated mind, it is better to focus on relaxing the body first.

Fold Hands
Ask your kid to fold hands in order to resist the urge to act violently when he is frustrated. Generally, kids feel like breaking something when frustrated.

Breathe Deeply
How to deal with a frustrated child? Ask your kid to breathe deeply. It is good to breathe deeply when one is frustrated. This will help in relaxing the system a bit so that the agitation is gone.

Count 1-30
Counting numbers at that time may help the kid divert his mind and cool the restless emotions. In fact even adults can try this step when they are agitated.

Drink Water
